With 800TB of usable capacity across eight 100TB HDD Media Packs, the Avid NEXIS | F5 800TB provides the storage density and performance required for large editorial teams working simultaneously on high-resolution workflows. Each Media Pack delivers 480 MB/s of sustained bandwidth; eight packs together reach 3.84 GB/s aggregate—supporting a large number of concurrent edit streams without bandwidth contention.

The F5 Controller ships with two 40/50Gbps Ethernet QSFP28 interfaces (unpopulated), enabling deployment on 25GbE or 50GbE production networks. The included Avid NEXIS | FS license provides centralized workspace management, user bandwidth controls, and native integration with Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and any NFS/SMB-compatible application.

Dual 220V redundant power supplies and five cooling modules support continuous 24/7 operation. Two 10TB spare drives are included for immediate hot-spare deployment. Two SSDs are included for NEXIS file system metadata and cache functions. The system ships with a rack-mount kit for standard 19-inch rack installation.
