Media Packs are the modular storage building blocks of the F5 platform—up to 8 packs can be installed in a single F5 chassis, scaling aggregate bandwidth to 3.84 GB/s over 25/50GbE networking. This Media Pack includes Avid ExpertPlus with Hardware Support maintenance coverage.
Product Description
The F5 140TB Media Pack is the highest-capacity standard HDD pack option for the NEXIS F5 chassis, maximizing storage density and aggregate throughput. Each pack provides 140TB of usable capacity and up to 480 MB/s of throughput. In a fully-populated F5 chassis (8 packs), total usable capacity reaches 1.12PB at 3.84 GB/s aggregate bandwidth. Media Packs can be hot-swapped into an existing F5 chassis for non-disruptive capacity expansion. NEXIS | SDA or SDA+ is required and sold separately.
