The Avid NEXIS | F5 All-Mirror configuration enables Avid NEXIS Media Mirror protection on all workspaces within the storage system. Media Mirror writes data redundantly across Media Packs, ensuring that no single hardware failure results in data loss for any workspace. This level of protection is appropriate for live broadcast operations, news production environments, and any facility where media loss is unacceptable.
With eight 140TB HDD Media Packs, this configuration delivers substantial raw capacity with the added assurance of full mirror protection. The F5 Controller ships with two 40/50Gbps Ethernet QSFP28 interfaces (unpopulated) for high-bandwidth 25GbE or 50GbE production network connectivity. The included Avid NEXIS | FS license provides centralized workspace management, bandwidth allocation, and native integration with Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
Dual 220V redundant power supplies and five cooling modules support continuous 24/7 operation. Two 14TB spare drives and two SSDs are included. The system ships with a rack-mount kit.
