The Avid NEXIS | F2 All-Mirror configuration enables Avid NEXIS Media Mirror protection on all workspaces system-wide. Media Mirror writes data to two independent storage locations simultaneously, providing workspace-level data protection beyond standard RAID—protecting media assets against storage subsystem failures and ensuring data integrity for critical productions.
With 140TB of usable mirrored capacity and up to 480 MB/s of throughput, the F2 All-Mirror supports concurrent HD and 4K collaborative workflows with enhanced data protection. It integrates into NEXIS environments alongside F5 and E-Series engines, managed from the same SDA/SDA+ appliance. The NEXIS | FS license provides centralized workspace management and NLE integration. NEXIS | SDA or SDA+ is required and sold separately.
