Product Description
The Avid NEXIS | E4 is a purpose-built shared storage engine for collaborative media workflows. Delivering 120TB of usable capacity, the E4 connects client workstations over 10GbE switching infrastructure and is managed through the Avid NEXIS | FS file system, providing workspace management, per-user bandwidth allocation, and full NLE client support. The E4 integrates into existing NEXIS environments alongside F-Series engines, managed from the same SDA/SDA+ appliance.
The E4 is designed for editorial environments where a compact shared storage footprint and 10GbE connectivity meet workflow requirements—including news, sports, and documentary production; broadcast traffic and playout support storage; and departmental editing suites in larger facilities using F-Series storage for primary production. The NEXIS FS license enables centralized workspace management and integration with Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, Adobe Premiere Pro, Apple Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
