Designed for organizations deploying Media Composer on cloud or on-premises VM environments for the first time at the 50-seat tier, this license enables VM-based editorial on platforms including AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premises VDI. The Cloud VM Option is an add-on to an existing Media Composer subscription.
Product Description
The Avid Media Composer | Cloud VM Option enables Media Composer installations on virtual machines, supporting cloud infrastructure and VDI deployments. This new 50-seat license provides the Cloud VM Option entitlement for up to 50 concurrent floating-seat users, enabling VM-based editorial workflows for distributed or cloud-first production organizations.
Cloud VM-based editorial reduces dependency on physical workstations, enables centralized media access for remote teams, and supports integration with cloud storage and production workflows. The Cloud VM Option is required in addition to a base Media Composer subscription for VM deployments.
