The VB342 Pro captures 4K video at 30fps through a lens with a 92-degree diagonal field of view, 84-degree horizontal, and 53-degree vertical. The 3x optical zoom provides 15x total zoom range through motorized pan and tilt, giving moderators the ability to frame participants precisely across a range of room sizes. Output travels over USB 2.0 Type-A to the host computer, with an Ethernet port available for IP streaming via RTSP and RTMP to recording and distribution systems.

Audio is handled by a 10-element beamforming microphone array with a pickup range of up to 20 feet. The array steers toward active speakers automatically, and the Audio Fencing feature lets you define a meeting zone so that sounds outside the camera’s viewing angle are suppressed—useful in open-plan offices or rooms with adjacent noise sources.
