Product Overview
The AVer TR530+ is a professional 30X auto-tracking PTZ camera that builds on the TR530 platform with added PoE+ power delivery, USB 2.0 output, and voice tracking capability via the PTZ Link software integration. Designed for AV integrators who need flexible deployment options, the TR530+ supports single-cable PoE+ installation via IEEE 802.3at while retaining the full 3G-SDI, HDMI, and IP output set of its predecessor. The dual-camera system — a 30X optical zoom PTZ sensor paired with a 120° FOV panoramic camera — delivers simultaneous 1080p60 streams for both the presenter and the full-room view. With VISCA, Pelco-D, Pelco-P, and ONVIF protocol support, the TR530+ integrates cleanly into any standards-based AV control environment.
Product Description
The TR530+ shares the core optics platform with the TR530: a 1/2.8" 60fps low-lux CMOS sensor, 30X optical zoom (f = 4.3mm–129mm, F1.6–F4.7), 12X digital zoom, and minimum illumination of 0.47 lux at 60fps. Maximum output is 1080p60. The secondary panoramic camera delivers a 120° DFOV wide-angle view at 1080p for simultaneous dual-stream IP delivery alongside the PTZ feed.
The key differentiators over the base TR530 are PoE+ support (IEEE 802.3at) and a USB 2.0 Type-B video output. PoE+ eliminates the need for a local power run, simplifying ceiling or wall mount installations where conduit access is limited. The USB output enables direct connection to a room PC or soft codec system — useful for Teams or Zoom deployments where the camera serves as a UVC device without a dedicated hardware codec. Note the TR530+ carries one 3G-SDI output (vs. two on the TR530).
Auto-tracking covers three modes. Wide Area Tracking uses up to 8 configurable blocking zones and an effective zone boundary. Stage Tracking restricts the frame to a defined performance area. Segment Tracking creates up to 4 content zones for automatic switching between display surfaces, whiteboards, and podiums. Voice tracking is available through integration with the free PTZ Link software and compatible networked microphone systems, allowing preset-based camera positioning triggered by active talker detection without custom programming.
Control is available via RS-232 (DB9-to-DIN6 adapter included) or over IP using VISCA Over IP, Pelco-D, or Pelco-P. ONVIF compliance supports integration with VMS platforms and third-party control systems. H.264 streams over RTSP and RTMP. Free AVer PTZ Management software provides centralized multi-camera control from a Windows PC.

Key Features
- PoE+ Power Delivery (IEEE 802.3at) — Single Ethernet cable provides both network connectivity and power, reducing installation hardware and simplifying ceiling or above-display mounts.
- 30X Optical Zoom — f = 4.3mm to 129mm lens handles close-up and wide-angle framing in the same unit across rooms of any size.
- USB 2.0 Type-B Output — Presents as a UVC device to any connected PC, enabling direct use with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other soft codec platforms without additional hardware.
- Three Auto-Tracking Modes — Wide Area, Stage, and Segment Tracking provide hands-free, operator-free camera operation tailored to different room layouts and content types.
- Voice Tracking via PTZ Link — Compatible microphone systems trigger preset-based camera positioning by active talker detection, with configuration handled in software rather than custom programming.
- 120° Panoramic Secondary Camera — Simultaneous dual-stream IP delivery of PTZ and full-room wide-angle views from a single RJ45 connection.
- VISCA / Pelco-D / Pelco-P / ONVIF Control — Full protocol compatibility over RS-232 and IP for integration with Crestron, AMX, Q-SYS, and other control systems.
- RTSP / RTMP Streaming with H.264 — Network streaming to platforms such as Panopto, OBS, and hardware encoders via standard IP protocols.
- 255 Preset Positions — Store and recall up to 255 positions via RS-232; 10 via included IR remote.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is the advantage of the TR530+ over the original TR530?
A: The TR530+ adds three capabilities not found on the TR530: PoE+ power delivery (IEEE 802.3at) for single-cable installation, a USB 2.0 Type-B output for direct PC connection as a UVC device, and voice tracking support via AVer PTZ Link software. The trade-off is one fewer 3G-SDI output (one vs. two on the TR530).
Q: Can the TR530+ be powered entirely over Ethernet?
A: Yes. The TR530+ supports IEEE 802.3at PoE+, which provides sufficient power for the camera over a standard Cat5e/Cat6 cable from a compatible PoE+ switch or injector. The included DC 12V/5A power adapter is an alternative for installations without PoE+ infrastructure.
Q: How does voice tracking work on the TR530+?
A: Voice tracking is implemented through AVer PTZ Link software (free download) in combination with compatible networked microphone systems. PTZ Link maps active talker zones from the microphone system to camera presets, triggering the TR530+ to move to the appropriate position when a talker is detected. No custom programming is required.
Q: Does the USB output support UVC for use with Teams or Zoom?
A: Yes. The USB 2.0 Type-B output presents the TR530+ as a standard UVC camera to a connected Windows PC, making it usable directly with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and other soft codec applications without a hardware codec or driver installation.
Q: What control protocols does the TR530+ support?
A: VISCA, Pelco-D, and Pelco-P over RS-232 (via included DB9-to-DIN6 adapter) and over IP (VISCA Over IP). ONVIF compliance enables integration with VMS platforms and third-party control systems. RS-232 baud rates of 115200, 9600, 4800, and 2400 bps are supported.
Q: How many cameras can be managed simultaneously with AVer PTZ Management?
A: AVer PTZ Management software supports multi-camera management over the network from a single Windows PC. The software is provided at no additional cost and supports camera discovery, preset management, and PTZ control for TR530+ and other AVer PTZ cameras on the same network.
