AVer PTZ Link is camera management software that connects AVer ProAV PTZ cameras with compatible audio systems to automate camera switching based on voice activity. The free version provides core functionality with up to 5 device groups and 8 microphone channels over IP. The Premium License Upgrade removes those caps, extending groups to 25 and microphone channels to 128, which is the configuration required for larger installed AV environments such as multi-room conference centers, university auditoriums, and broadcast studios.

One of the key capabilities unlocked by the premium license is USB multichannel automatic video switching. When a microphone in a group picks up the active speaker, PTZ Link automatically switches the camera output to the corresponding group — over USB for up to five groups, or over IP for the full 25. This switching delay is adjustable from 0.5 to 5 seconds so integrators can tune the responsiveness to the room. Combined with human tracking, which uses the camera’s AI engine to follow an active presenter within frame, the premium tier delivers a fully hands-off broadcast experience once configured.

PTZ Link is compatible with all AVer ProAV PTZ cameras and integrates with microphone and audio systems from Shure, Sennheiser, Yamaha, Nureva, Audio-Technica, ClearOne, and other leading manufacturers. Each camera-microphone group supports up to 256 preset positions, giving operators granular scene control.
