Product Description

The MD330UI is built around a 1/2.8" Exmor CMOS sensor with 8 megapixels effective resolution, delivering 4K/30fps output via IP and USB (UVC) and up to 1080p/60 via HDMI. The 30X optical zoom (f = 4.3mm–129mm, F1.6–F4.7) with 2X digital zoom provides a 72.9°–2.64° DFOV range, enabling detailed examination of wound sites, vital sign monitors, or patient positioning from the full room view down to close-up clinical detail. Minimum working distance is 0.01m at wide-end, allowing the detached handheld head to capture wound images and label text at extremely short working distances.

The detachable camera head is one of the MD330UI’s defining clinical features. By pulling the head from the PTZ unit, clinicians can manually reposition the camera to examine areas outside the fixed PTZ range — underneath patients, at bed level, or from specific lateral angles — and take one-button snapshots saved to the microSD card slot. The IR illumination module (specific to the MD330UI vs. the MD330U which uses LED fill light) enables night-view imaging without disturbing patients during low-light hours. Auto-focus speed is optimized for clinical use to quickly lock onto targets as the camera transitions between subjects or distances.

Audio is handled by an embedded array microphone with AI noise reduction and an integrated speakerphone, supporting clear telehealth consultations without external audio hardware. PTZ control is via VISCA over RS-232 or IP, with Pelco-D and Pelco-P also supported. The camera is ONVIF-compliant. The USB 3.0 interface presents the device as a UVC 1.1 and UAC 1.0 device, enabling plug-and-play connection to clinical workstations and telemedicine applications on Windows 7 or later. Up to 256 preset positions can be stored and recalled via RS-232 or IP. AVer PTZ Management software is included for networked camera management.
