The COMVBEMIC uses an omnidirectional electret condenser element to capture voices from all directions with a pickup range of approximately 12 feet. It ships with a 32.8-foot (10 m) proprietary cable that provides a straightforward connection to the expansion port on the VB342+. The compact tabletop form factor keeps the microphone low-profile on conference room tables, and the side-address orientation picks up audio in a 360-degree pattern for even coverage. The unit weighs approximately 10.8 oz (306 g) and is finished in black to blend with standard conference room furniture. Because the COMVBEMIC draws power directly from the VB342+, no separate power adapter or USB connection is required.
