The AC-MXNET-1G-E connects to any HDMI 2.0 source — such as a media player, PC, camera, or cable box — and encodes the audio/video signal into a JPEG 2000-compressed multicast stream transmitted over CAT 6A-recommended Ethernet or optionally via SFP fiber for long-haul runs. All connected decoders on the same managed L3 network can receive this stream, with routing controlled entirely through the MXNet MENTOR software interface.
