The AC-CXWP-HDMO-BKT solves a fundamental problem in meeting room AV design: getting HDMI from a presenter's connection point on a wall or table surface to a display or projector located 40 to 70 meters away, without the fragility and distance limitations of long passive HDMI cables. The single-gang wall plate transmitter (AC-CXWP-HDMO-T) mounts in any standard USA single-gang mud ring or Decora-type electrical box, presenting a clean flush-mounted HDMI input at the presenter's position. A single CAT6A cable run from the wall plate to the receiver (AC-EX70-UHD-BR) — which sits at the display end — carries the HDMI signal over HDBaseT at up to 40 meters for 4K30 4:4:4 or up to 70 meters for 1080p content. Audio is passed without modification, supporting uncompressed PCM 2CH, 5.1, and 7.1, as well as Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, and Atmos over HDMI. HDCP 2.2 and all earlier versions are supported for compatibility with protected content from Blu-ray players, streaming devices, and computer sources.
