The HP-LC is the straight-cable option for Audio-Technica's M-Series monitor headphones, suited to engineers who prefer a fixed length over a coil. At 3 m (9.8'), it provides ample reach to a console or headphone amplifier while staying out of the way during seated mixing work. The connector twists to lock into the left earcup, keeping the cable secured through tracking and editing sessions. A 6.3 mm (1/4") screw-on adapter is included for studio interfaces and headphone amplifiers, with the bare plug serving 3.5 mm consumer jacks. The cable fits the ATH-M40x, ATH-M50x, ATH-M60x, and ATH-M70x, making it a useful spare across a studio's headphone inventory. It is not compatible with the wireless ATH-M50xBT model.
