The Audio-Technica HP-CC is a black coiled replacement cable for the M-Series studio monitor headphones. It stretches from 1.2 m to 3 m (3.9' to 9.8'), giving you reach at the console while retracting neatly when you step away. The cable fits the ATH-M40x, ATH-M50x, ATH-M60x, and ATH-M70x and ships with a 6.3 mm (1/4") screw-on adapter. Note that it is not compatible with the ATH-M50xBT.
Product Description
A detachable cable is one of the first parts to wear on a heavily used pair of monitor headphones, and the HP-CC restores a worn or damaged ATH-M40x or ATH-M50x to full service. The coiled construction extends from 1.2 m to 3 m (3.9' to 9.8'), so engineers can move around the room and the slack pulls back out of the way at the workstation. The connector locks into the left earcup with a twist, keeping the cable secure during tracking and mixing sessions. A 6.3 mm (1/4") screw-on adapter is included for studio interfaces and headphone amplifiers, while the bare plug serves consumer 3.5 mm jacks. Beyond the M40x and M50x, this replacement cable also fits the ATH-M60x and ATH-M70x, making it a useful spare across a studio's headphone inventory. The cable is not compatible with the wireless ATH-M50xBT model. Keeping a spare HP-CC on hand reduces downtime when a primary cable fails mid-project.
