Product Overview

The Audio-Technica ATM350U is a cardioid condenser instrument microphone built around the ATM350a element, paired with the AT8491U universal clip-on mount and a strong, flexible AT8490 5-inch gooseneck. This clip-on instrument microphone delivers a clear, well-balanced response at high sound pressure levels, making it well suited to brass, saxophone, and other instruments in live-sound, broadcast, and house of worship audio. The universal clip-on mounting system clamps securely to an instrument bell and holds the microphone in position even during aggressive play. It is a versatile gooseneck condenser microphone for commercial AV and performance applications.

Product Description

Audio-Technica ATM350U cardioid condenser instrument microphone with universal clip-on mounting system and 5-inch gooseneck

Designed for use with brass, saxophone, and other instruments, the ATM350U UniMount system gives integrators the tools to mike a performer with confidence. The system features the ATM350a cardioid condenser microphone, a high-SPL element that provides a clear, well-balanced response from any instrument. When teamed with the included AT8491U universal clip-on mount and strong, flexible AT8490 5-inch gooseneck, the microphone clips securely to the bell of the instrument and stays where it is positioned, so the gooseneck will not flop around no matter how aggressively the instrument is played. The cardioid polar pattern isolates the instrument by reducing side and rear pickup, while the switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter on the in-line power module helps control undesired low-frequency noise. The clip-on mount also provides shock resistance for the microphone. For installed systems, the standard phantom power requirement and 3-pin XLRM output make integration with mixers, DSPs, and wireless transmitters straightforward. The system includes an AT8468 violin mount with hook-and-loop fastener and a protective carrying case. Browse compatible microphones and accessories at Creation Networks to assemble a complete capture solution. Optional interchangeable elements allow the pickup pattern to be tailored to the venue.
