Product Overview
The Audio-Technica AT8491S surface mount enables use of an ATM350a cardioid condenser instrument microphone and its accompanying gooseneck on accordions and other instruments with challenging mounting surfaces. The notched mount attaches permanently with the accordion grille screw and an adhesive silicon pad, or temporarily with included fastener tape pads. A socket with a locking screw securely holds an AT8490 5" or AT8490L 9" gooseneck. It is a practical mounting solution for live and installed instrument-miking applications.
Product Description
The AT8491S surface mount for the ATM350a microphone gives integrators and performers a reliable way to position a gooseneck-mounted capsule on instruments where conventional clamps will not fit. 
The notched mount is designed for accordions and similar instruments, attaching permanently using the instrument grille screw together with the included adhesive silicon pad. When a non-permanent setup is required, the included fastener tape pads allow the mount to be positioned temporarily and repositioned as needed. A transparent protective film is also included to help prevent damage to the instrument finish during installation. The integrated socket incorporates a locking screw that securely holds an AT8490 5" or AT8490L 9" gooseneck, keeping the capsule stable during performance. This makes the AT8491S a focused accessory for instrument-miking applications where placement flexibility and surface protection matter.
