The AT8490L 9" gooseneck gives integrators and performers extended reach and stable, repeatable microphone placement for the ATM350a. 
The 9" length suits instruments and positions where the shorter AT8490 5" gooseneck does not provide enough reach. Its rugged UniMount construction is strong yet flexible, allowing the microphone to be bent into position and stay there reliably under performance conditions. An integral foam windscreen entirely surrounds the capsule, helping to manage breath and air noise during close miking. The AT8490L is compatible with a range of Audio-Technica instrument mounts, including the AT8491U Universal Clip-on Mount, AT8491P Magnetic Piano Mount, AT8491D Drum Mount, and AT8491W Woodwind Mount.
