The Audio-Technica AT831b is a miniature cardioid condenser lavalier microphone for presenters and lecturers, supplied with an in-line phantom power module for wired use. Its cardioid pattern rejects off-axis sound to improve gain-before-feedback in reinforced conference rooms and houses of worship. It delivers clear, intelligible speech for sound reinforcement and lecture capture.
Product Description
Clipped to a lapel, the AT831b provides a clean speech signal with a directional cardioid pattern that helps control feedback where loudspeakers are active.
Frequency response runs 40–18,000 Hz with a 200 ohm impedance, and an integral 80 Hz high-pass filter controls rumble. The microphone terminates in a TA3F connector to its in-line power module and operates on 11V to 52V phantom power.
