Its tight hypercardioid pattern isolates the vocalist on loud stages, making it a dependable Artist Elite vocal microphone for houses of worship, auditoriums, and multi-purpose rooms. The rugged body handles demanding stage use.
Product Description
The AE6100 delivers a fast, present vocal sound that cuts through a dense mix, and its hypercardioid pattern provides more side rejection than a cardioid for high gain-before-feedback on loud stages. The road-ready build handles regular handling.
Frequency response runs 60–15,000 Hz with an open circuit sensitivity of –55 dB (1.7 mV) and a 250 ohm impedance, terminating in an integral 3-pin XLRM connector. As a dynamic microphone, it needs no phantom power.
For a cardioid pattern that is more forgiving of placement, the AE4100 cardioid handheld is a companion option.
