The 4 mm textured powder-coated aluminium housing and aluminium grille with hydrophobic cloth, sealing rubbers and drainage holes make it IP55 compliant, and it passed a 720-hour salt spray test. Connections are made on a 4-pin Euro terminal block, with an included plate with two M16 cable glands and a second plate with a cable grommet. An optional CVS102 Speakon connection plate and the TRV106 70/100V transformer module extend the connection options. For mounting, use the included bracket, the MBK530 pole mount, the MBK523/G ground pin or the MBK465 table stand; a 3/8" stand fitting also accepts microphone stands. The M6 safety bushing works with the STG601 drop safety wire to secure the speaker in overhead or exposed locations. An 8 Ω version is available as the VIRO5/B, and the VIRO5D/W is the same model in white.
