The AUDAC COM12MK2 is a 120 W public address mixer amplifier with 6 inputs and a 5-zone speaker selector, built for paging and background music in schools, retail, offices and public buildings. It drives a 100V constant-voltage line or a 4 Ω load. Paging mic, tele-paging and chime inputs make it a complete small PA system.
How does the AUDAC COM12MK2 PA mixer amplifier work?
The COM12MK2 takes 5 balanced mic/line inputs (4 with 15 V phantom power, 2 with priority) and a stereo RCA line input. A remote paging-mic input with chime and a tele-paging input let a phone system or desk mic interrupt the music, and a priority mute contact handles fire-alarm override. Five front-panel zone switches route audio to up to five speaker lines on the 10-pin terminal block. Amplifier link in and out jacks let you chain amps for more power. It is a 2RU, Class A/B design with convection cooling and includes rack ears.
