The AUDAC CEP803 is a 1RU 8-channel class-D power amplifier delivering 8 x 30 W into 4 Ω, 70V or 100V on every channel. It is built for multi-zone background music and paging in offices, schools, retail and hospitality. Energy Star certification and a 0.6 W standby draw keep running costs low.
How does the AUDAC CEP803 multichannel amplifier work?
Each of the CEP803's 8 channels drives its own zone directly at 70V, 100V or 4 Ω, with no bridging, so one rack unit covers 8 separate areas. Balanced inputs land on Euro terminal blocks, and miniature switches link inputs across channels when several zones share a source, saving patch cables. Output is on 4-pin terminal blocks. The amplifier is convection cooled, so it runs silently, and it protects against short circuits, overheating, overload and clipping. Frequency response is 110 Hz – 20 kHz (±3 dB), tuned for speech and background music on constant-voltage lines. Pair it with a matrix such as the MTX88 or LUNA-F.
