The ALTI4M is the wall- and ceiling-mount variant of AUDAC's ALTI pendant loudspeakers, with identical acoustics and construction, so a project can keep one audio design even where ceiling heights rule out pendants. A 4" driver with a coaxially mounted 1" soft dome tweeter and phase plug gives wide 165° conical coverage and an 85 Hz – 20 kHz response (±3 dB). The loudspeaker handles 30 W continuous (AES), 60 W program and 120 W peak power. On distributed systems, the transformer taps provide 24 W or 12 W at 100 V and 12 W or 6 W at 70 V. The polypropylene enclosure, aluminium grill and moisture-resistant driver coating make it suitable for terraces, bathrooms and other humid locations, and connections use a weatherproof AWX5 connector with an included 27.56 in (70 cm) cable. The die-cast bracket lets the speaker be aimed at any angle on a wall or ceiling. For pole mounting, add the MBK530 pole mount adapter, or use the MBK523/G ground stake for landscape installs. AUDAC set solutions drive ALTI4M speakers from the COM104, COM108, EPA152 or SCP212 amplifiers. A white version is available as the ALTI4M/W.
