Product Overview

The Atlona AT-HDVS-210H-TX-WP is a single-gang dual HDMI wall plate transmitter that combines a 2-input HDBaseT switcher with an integrated HDBaseT transmitter in a compact US one-gang enclosure. Designed for huddle rooms, conference rooms, and training rooms, this HDMI wall plate HDBaseT transmitter extends 4K/UHD video at 60Hz with 4:2:0 chroma subsampling up to 330 feet (100 meters) over a single category cable while eliminating the need for a separate control system through automatic input selection and built-in display control. The AT-HDVS-210H-TX-WP is a member of the Atlona HDVS Series of HDBaseT switching transmitters, and works with Omega Series receivers such as the AT-OME-RX11 as well as Atlona matrix switchers with HDBaseT inputs. It is remotely powered by the downstream receiver or switcher over HDBaseT, requiring no local AC connection at the wall plate.

Product Description

Atlona Single Gang Dual HDMI Wall Transmitter - AT-HDVS-210H-TX-WP

The AT-HDVS-210H-TX-WP installs directly into a standard US one-gang wall box and ships with interchangeable black and white wallplates and faceplates for flexible aesthetic matching. Accepting two HDMI sources in a single-gang footprint, it is designed for presentations tables, lecterns, floor boxes, and wall locations where space is limited. Automatic input selection uses both hot plug detect (HPD) and active video detection, ensuring reliable switching for all source types including devices that hold the HPD line high without active video. Automatic display control allows the transmitter to power a connected display on or off via TCP/IP, RS-232, or CEC when sources are connected or disconnected — reducing dependence on a dedicated control system and lowering integration costs. The built-in web server provides browser-based configuration of input switching, display control, EDID management, HDCP management, and network settings from any mobile device or laptop on the network. EDID management ensures the attached sources receive accurate capability data from the display, preventing unsupported resolution negotiation. HDCP management allows non-protected PC output to pass to non-compliant endpoints such as streaming encoders or video conferencing codecs. The AT-HDVS-210H-TX-WP supports Atlona Velocity Device Manager for centralized configuration, monitoring, and firmware management of multiple units across a facility. Multi-channel audio including PCM, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, DTS Digital Surround, and DTS-HD Master Audio passes through the HDBaseT link to the receiver. The product also supports an adjustable projector lamp cooldown mode to prevent premature re-power of lamp-based projection systems.

Key Features

  • US One-Gang Wall Plate Form Factor — Fits standard single-gang wall boxes with interchangeable black and white trim kits included, supporting discreet installation on walls, in furniture, or in floor boxes.
  • 2×1 Dual HDMI Switching — Accepts two HDMI sources in a single-gang enclosure, minimizing wall or floor box space while providing input flexibility for presenters.
  • HDBaseT Transmission to 330 Feet — Extends 4K/UHD 60Hz 4:2:0 video with embedded audio and control up to 330 feet (100 meters) using CAT6A/7, or 1080p up to 330 feet on CAT5e/6.
  • PoE Remote Powering — Powered by an upstream Atlona receiver or HDBaseT-equipped switcher over the category cable using IEEE 802.3af PoE, eliminating the need for local AC power at the wall plate.
  • Automatic Input Selection — Selects the active HDMI input based on both HPD signal and active video detection, ensuring reliable auto-switching for all source types including those with persistent HPD.
  • Automatic Display Control — Powers connected displays on or off via TCP/IP, RS-232, or CEC in response to source connection or disconnection, eliminating the need for a separate control system in many deployments.
  • HDCP 2.2 Compliant — Supports the current High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection specification for pass-through of protected content between authenticated devices.
  • EDID Management — Controls EDID communications between sources and the display, ensuring correct resolution and audio format negotiation across the system.
  • HDCP Management — Allows non-protected material from PCs to pass to non-compliant downstream devices such as streaming encoders, while blocking protected content from unauthorized endpoints.
  • TCP/IP and RS-232 Control — Provides flexible third-party control system integration via Atlona Velocity and RS-232, with TCP/IP available through a compatible HDBaseT receiver or switcher.
  • Integrated Web Server — Browser-based configuration interface allows field setup and troubleshooting from a mobile device or PC without specialized software.
  • HDBaseT Link Status Monitoring — Tests and reports real-time HDBaseT cable link integrity through the web GUI for quick verification or troubleshooting of RJ45 termination and cable quality.

Typical Applications

  • Conference room HDMI wall plate switcher transmitter at presenter table or floor box
  • Huddle room dual HDMI input wall plate for laptop and room PC sources
  • Training room HDBaseT wall transmitter extending 4K/UHD to a remote flat panel or projector
  • Boardroom lectern integration with automatic display control and input switching
  • Commercial meeting space AV integration with centralized Velocity Device Manager management
  • Government space installation requiring HDBaseT extension with RS-232 display control
