Product Overview

The Atlona AT-PRO5-101-RX is an SDVoE / PRO5 Series AV over IP receiver that accepts 10GbE connectivity from the AT-PRO5-MX810 matrix switcher and delivers 4K/UHD video at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR support to a local HDMI display. Designed for commercial AV distribution over long distances, this SDVoE 10G AV over IP receiver supports both copper CAT6a UTP cabling up to 330 feet (100 meters) and fiber optic cabling up to 10 kilometers via an SFP+ cage, providing the infrastructure flexibility required for large facilities such as universities, hospitals, courtrooms, and hospitality venues. HDCP 2.3 compliant and NDAA-889 compliant, the AT-PRO5-101-RX passes video, audio, Gigabit Ethernet, and bidirectional RS-232 and IR control signals in a compact, low-profile enclosure suited for behind-display and above-projector mounting.

Product Description

Atlona AT-PRO5-101-RX SDVoE PRO5 Series 10G AV over IP Receiver

The Atlona AT-PRO5-101-RX is an AV extension receiver in the PRO5 Series, designed to work with the AT-PRO5-MX810 HDMI to SDVoE matrix switcher. It receives video, embedded audio, Gigabit Ethernet, and RS-232 and IR control signals from the PRO5-MX810 over 10GbE connectivity using SDVoE technology. The receiver is HDCP 2.3 compliant and supports 4K/UHD at 60 Hz with 4:4:4 chroma sampling and HDR formats including HDR10, Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG), and Dolby Vision, at HDMI data rates up to 18 Gbps. The unit features an RJ45 port for copper CAT6a UTP cabling, providing extension up to 330 feet (100 meters) with IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet supplied by the PRO5-MX810, eliminating the need for local AC power at the display when using copper. An SFP+ cage accepts a compatible fiber optic transceiver module (sold separately) for extension distances from 38 meters up to 10 kilometers, making the AT-PRO5-101-RX suitable for installations with very long cable runs or where dark fiber in an existing cable plant can be utilized. Note that copper and fiber cannot be used simultaneously. Audio de-embedding extracts two-channel LPCM audio to a balanced analog output on a 5-pin captive screw connector for direct integration with external audio amplifiers and speaker systems. Multi-channel audio pass-through supports PCM, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio, Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS Digital Surround. A Gigabit Ethernet port on the receiver provides network pass-through to a locally connected device at the display location. EDID management and HDCP 2.3 management features are accessible via an integrated web server through the PRO5-MX810 or, when Ethernet pass-through is disengaged, directly from the local network. The receiver is compatible with Atlona Velocity Device Manager for centralized configuration and firmware management across a facility. The low-profile enclosure measures 0.98 inches (25 mm) in height and includes surface mounting hardware for installation behind flat panel displays or above ceiling-mounted projectors. NDAA Section 889 compliance confirms the unit does not contain prohibited components, supporting deployment in government and regulated facilities.
