The WMA12-23 is engineered around a two-piece architecture: the back pan ships boxed separately on the same pallet as the center section, so the contractor can send the rear section to the job site for installation by other trades — electricians can mount and rough-in conduit before the AV equipment ever arrives. A 12.5" x 12.5" cutout in the back pan gives direct cable access through the mounting surface, raised mounting embosses accept power and accessory hardware, and multiple knockouts at the top and bottom of the rear section accommodate conduit and wireless antennas.
