The Atlas Sound VPB-1A is a vandal-resistant, plate-mounted momentary push-button call switch designed for use in secure commercial and institutional environments. Product Description

The VPB-1A features a heavy-duty, momentary-action push button constructed of nickel-plated brass, sealed to an IP65 classification against moisture and contaminants. The single-pole, single-throw, normally-open switch contact is rated at 3A at 120VAC or 1.5A at 250VAC, making it suitable for direct connection to paging controls, access control systems, and call stations. The unit mounts to standard 2 or 3-gang electrical outlet boxes using countersunk 6-32 machine screws, and lead wires extend 5 inches (127mm) for flexible termination during installation. The phenolic resin-impregnated speaker cone in associated VPCS stations delivers clear voice transmission, while dual die-cast baffles protect the assembly from vandalism. The stainless steel face plate provides a professional appearance while resisting damage from physical contact. BAA and TAA compliance makes the VPB-1A suitable for government, education, and federally funded facility installations.
