Product Overview

The AtlasIED TSD-BB22 is a 2-input by 2-output DSP audio processor from the BlueBridge family, built for compact commercial audio installations that need real signal processing without a full rack-size DSP. GUI-selectable mic or line inputs, balanced high-gain outputs, and a 48 kHz, 40-bit floating point DSP engine make it suitable for conference rooms, small house of worship systems, presentation spaces, and zone paging. Open-architecture drag-and-drop software keeps programming fast for system designers, while Ethernet connectivity provides TCP/IP control and remote management. It is a cost-effective entry point into networked DSP audio processing for commercial AV integration.

Product Description

BlueBridge networkable DSP devices are engineered with high-quality internal components for clean audio, Ethernet connectivity, and straightforward programmability. The TSD-BB22 uses THAT Corporation microphone preamps and 24-bit converters to achieve an ultra-low noise floor, and its 40-bit floating point DSP engine prevents the digital clipping common in fixed-point processors while providing the headroom to run advanced algorithms in complex designs. Processing tools include standard mixers, gain-sharing automixers, delays, equalizers, level controls, duckers, filters, and dozens of other blocks the designer can drop into the open-architecture layout.

AtlasIED TSD-BB22 BlueBridge 2x2 DSP audio processor

Each input is GUI-selectable between mic and line level with 48V phantom power, so a wireless receiver, gooseneck microphone, or program source connects without external preamps. On a network, every BlueBridge processor is auto-recognized and controllable, and the unit can also run standalone after configuration for live speech applications where network control is unnecessary or unavailable. The companion Atlas BluePanel software lets designers build custom control interfaces accessible from networked computers, and program wall controllers such as the BB-TOUCH7 touch panel for end-user volume control, source selection, and room combining — giving users day-to-day control without exposing the DSP configuration to unauthorized changes. iOS and Android app control is supported as well. AtlasIED also provides pre-configured design templates through its BlueBridge training program as starting points for common applications including video conferencing, courtrooms, room combining, restaurants, multi-zone paging, and background music. Pair the TSD-BB22 with amplifiers and loudspeakers from our AtlasIED collection to complete the signal chain.

Key Features

  • 2x2 DSP Architecture — Two GUI-selectable mic/line inputs and two balanced line outputs cover compact room and zone designs.
  • 40-Bit Floating Point Engine — 48 kHz processing with floating point math prevents digital clipping and supports advanced algorithms.
  • Drag-and-Drop Open Architecture — Mixers, automixers, EQs, delays, duckers, and filters configure visually without scripting.
  • THAT Corp Mic Preamps — High-quality preamps and 24-bit converters deliver an ultra-low noise floor.
  • 48V Phantom Power — GUI-enabled phantom power supports condenser microphones directly.
  • Ethernet TCP/IP Control — Network connectivity for programming, control, and auto-recognition of every BlueBridge device on the network.
  • iOS and Android App Control — Mobile control of system functions for operators and end users.
  • BluePanel Custom Interfaces — Designer-built control pages and BB-TOUCH7 wall panel programming protect the DSP from unauthorized changes.
  • Standalone Operation — Runs without a network connection after setup for live speech and simple installations.
  • Precision Gain Control — Electronically balanced gain adjustable from -40 to +15 dB in 0.25 dB steps.
  • Signal Indicator LEDs — Front-edge indicators simplify troubleshooting during commissioning.
  • External Power Supply Included — cUL, CE, RoHS, and TUV certified supply ships in the box.

Frequently Asked Questions

What software programs the TSD-BB22?
The BlueBridge open-architecture drag-and-drop software handles configuration, and Atlas BluePanel builds custom end-user control interfaces for networked computers and wall controllers like the BB-TOUCH7.

Does it require a network to operate?
No. The processor must be on the network for setup and for remote control, but it runs standalone afterward — useful for live speech systems where network control is unnecessary or unavailable.

Can I connect microphones directly?
Yes. Both inputs are GUI-selectable between mic and line level with 48V phantom power, so condenser microphones connect without external preamps.

What processing blocks are available?
Standard mixers, gain-sharing automixers, delays, equalizers, level controls, duckers, filters, and dozens of additional tools within the drag-and-drop layout.

How do end users control the system?
Through iOS and Android apps, BluePanel computer interfaces, or programmed wall controllers — all limited to the functions the designer exposes, preventing unauthorized changes to the DSP configuration.

Is the TSD-BB22 big enough for my room?
The 2x2 I/O suits single rooms and small zone systems such as a conference room, huddle room, or restaurant zone. Larger BlueBridge models are available for designs needing more inputs and outputs.

What is included and what about warranty?
The certified external power supply ships in the box, the unit is covered by AtlasIED's manufacturer warranty, and Creation Networks offers design support for BlueBridge DSP projects.
