The Atlas Sound T51-84 is a 4-inch speaker baffle designed for blind mount enclosure installations in commercial distributed audio systems. Built from one-piece cold-rolled steel (CRS), the T51-84 accepts a standard 4-inch speaker (such as the Atlas Sound T51-4) and torsion-mounts directly into compatible enclosures for fast, tool-light installation. This baffle is widely used in hospitality, education, retail, and corporate audio installations where a clean ceiling finish is required.
Product Description
The T51-84 follows an economical industry-standard design that has established broad compatibility across a wide selection of Atlas Sound enclosures and mounting rings. Its one-piece CRS construction eliminates the vibration and rattle that can occur with multi-piece assemblies, ensuring that mechanical noise does not degrade the audio output of the installed loudspeaker. The torsion spring mounting system allows the baffle-speaker assembly to snap into the enclosure with a simple push-and-turn motion, significantly reducing installation time compared to screw-mounted alternatives. At 8.5 inches (21.59 cm) in diameter and only 3/16 inch (0.48 cm) in depth, the T51-84 presents a low-profile, flush finished appearance in the ceiling. The baffle mounts to the BMT95-4(-7) blind mount enclosure and is TAA and BAA compliant for government procurement eligibility. It is covered by a 60-month warranty. Optional HydroPhobic treatment is available for humid or moisture-prone environments.
