Product Overview

The Atlas Sound PM4FA-W is a 4-inch two-way pendant-mount loudspeaker in white finish, designed for distributed 70.7-volt audio systems in commercial and institutional spaces with low ceiling heights. It uses the FA134 Strategy Series driver—the same component found in the popular FAP42T in-ceiling package—mounted in a down-firing pendant enclosure for wide, even coverage. The PM4FA-W suits background music and paging applications where in-ceiling installation is not practical.

Product Description

The PM4FA-W houses the 4-inch FA134 coaxial driver in an attractive pendant enclosure that hangs down-firing from the ceiling, projecting sound downward into the listening area. The FA134 driver provides 130-degree dispersion at 2 kHz (65 degrees off-axis), delivering wide horizontal coverage from a single unit—particularly valuable in spaces with 10-foot or lower ceilings. The integrated 70.7V transformer offers taps at 1, 2, 4, 8, and 16 watts, with an 8-ohm direct input available via a concealed terminal block. Mounting uses standard 3/4-inch ceiling fan hardware, simplifying installation in locations where mounting hardware is already present. Three meters of 2mm cable and all mounting hardware are included. The PM4FA-W is well-suited for retail spaces, reception areas, atriums, and other low-ceiling commercial environments where full-range audio quality and clean aesthetics are both required.
