Product Description
The PD-30T features a 1.5" voice coil and a plane wave frequency response of 300 Hz to 3.9 kHz, delivering the intelligibility needed for voice paging and tone signaling over long distances. The integrated transformer uses Atlas Sound’s proprietary Vari-Tap Control/Connect Center, which provides a screwdriver-selectable ohms/watts switch for flexible system configuration without rewiring. The transformer is varnish impregnated to resist moisture and environmental exposure, extending service life in demanding outdoor applications. A protective terminal cover with built-in strain relief ensures secure cable connections in high-vibration or outdoor environments. Average sensitivity is 113.6 dB across the rated bandwidth, making the PD-30T an efficient choice for applications requiring high sound pressure levels at moderate power levels. The driver is compatible with the BX-1A conduit adapter for conduit-fed cable runs. The integral transformer and driver assembly simplify installation by eliminating the need for a separate external transformer unit.
