Product Description
The PB11XCH attaches to compatible Atlas mic stand hardware and extends from 16 1/4" to 24 1/2" with a single continuous motion, eliminating the need to loosen and re-tighten separate adjustment points during setup. The fixed 2 lb. counterweight is positioned to counterbalance the microphone load and keep the boom stable at any extension angle, preventing unwanted droop during performance. A threaded end cap accommodates standard 5/8"-27 microphone adapters and fittings. The chrome-plated tube finish is durable and matches other chrome-finish Atlas stand hardware, making it a natural companion for chrome tripod and round-base stands on stage. The PB11XCH is well-suited for drum kit configurations, where multiple short booms are often used to position overhead and tom microphones precisely.
