Product Description

The MUSICAVC-100Z delivers clear, distortion-free stereo music reproduction across its full 20Hz to 20kHz frequency range, rated at –3dB. Attenuation is stepped in eleven increments: the first six steps are 3dB each for fine control at low listening levels, followed by three 6dB steps, one 9dB step, and one 28dB step before a positive off position—providing a total attenuation range of 30dB. The 1X impedance-matching setting allows the MUSICAVC-100Z to function as a standard 8-ohm non-impedance-matching volume control when multiple zones are not required. The low-profile control knob measures 1-1/4" in diameter and projects only 11/16" from the wall surface, minimizing visual intrusion. Assemblies measure 2-11/16" deep and mount into a standard 20 cubic inch electrical outlet box, supplied by the installer. Each unit includes three interchangeable plastic part sets in white, ivory, and almond—comprising the plate, knob, and trim piece—so the color can be changed by swapping all three parts. The single-gang Decora plate keeps the installation consistent with standard wall plate layouts throughout a facility. A 24-month warranty from date of purchase is included.
