Product Description

The M1000R-W integrates a high-efficiency 8-inch paper cone transducer with a low-insertion-loss 70.7V line matching transformer, factory assembled into a 382 cubic inch (6.26 liter) round enclosure. The balanced enclosure geometry ensures the speaker hangs level when suspended, eliminating on-site adjustment. System-level tuning is handled via an external tap selector switch with settings at 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 watts plus an OFF position, allowing installers to match output to zone coverage requirements without additional hardware. Installation uses a 78-inch (2-meter) suspension chain system included in the box, enabling quick height adjustment after initial deployment. An integral wire strain relief on the top of the enclosure secures the speaker cable and maintains termination integrity in plenum spaces. The low-gloss white finish is designed to blend with white-painted ductwork, LED lighting fixtures, and other ceiling infrastructure commonly found in open-plan offices. This unit is tested and approved to UL 2043 for use in air-handling (plenum) spaces and is safety listed to UL 1480 and UL 2043.
