The IPSVR is a GLOBALCOM server that extends the capacity of an IP200 or IP116 series Announcement Control System, adding message storage, scheduling, and processing capability for larger or more complex GLOBALCOM deployments.
How does the Atlas Sound IPSVR work?
The IPSVR runs alongside a primary ACS controller (IP216-C, IP232-D, or IP116-D) as an additional message server, so a facility with a high volume of scheduled announcements, zone messages, or multi-building traffic doesn't overload a single controller. It integrates into the same GCK-managed GLOBALCOM network as the primary controller, sharing device discovery, scheduling, and control across the system.
