The 7" touchscreen pairs with a handheld omnidirectional electret condenser microphone positioned in the housing for strong acoustical coupling, delivering a full-bodied, intelligible voice signal. The microphone element is continuously supervised, so a failed mic is reported before it compromises an emergency page. Redundant Ethernet ports and PoE power support resilient network installation in transportation facilities, government spaces, and large commercial campuses, and the station is optimized for AtlasIED GCK configuration software and the GLOBALCOM 116D controller.
