Product Overview
The AtlasIED IPCSDTOUCH-H is a Dante-enabled touch screen paging station for GLOBALCOM.IP announcement control systems, giving operators a fully programmable interface for initiating live and pre-recorded audio/visual announcements. Built for IP paging system installation in transportation facilities, government spaces, and large commercial campuses, this digital communication station with handheld microphone rides on standard network infrastructure with PoE power. System designers planning Dante paging microphone deployments will appreciate its redundant Ethernet ports and supervised microphone element for mission-critical reliability.
Product Description
The IPCSDTOUCH-H pairs a fully programmable touch screen user interface with a handheld omnidirectional electret condenser microphone, providing unlimited selection and initiation of announcements and messages within a GLOBALCOM.IP system. The microphone cartridge is positioned in the housing for strong acoustical coupling, delivering a full-bodied, highly intelligible voice signal, and the station supervises the microphone element continuously so a failed mic is reported before it compromises an emergency page. The handheld assembly integrates the mic element, preamplifier, and audio line driver in a teardrop-shaped Cyclolac housing, attaches magnetically to the station base, and uses a coiled cable with molded 6-wire RJ25 connectors that resist pull-out failure.

Dante message channels carry announcement audio across the facility network alongside other Dante devices, simplifying commercial AV system integration with DSPs, amplifiers, and endpoints from the broader Dante ecosystem. Each station is a network appliance that can take a DHCP-assigned or static IP address, which keeps multi-station rollouts straightforward for IT teams. PoE power enables one-cable installation at operator desks and security consoles, while redundant Ethernet ports support resilient topologies. An auxiliary line-level input accepts a local background music source, a line-level output can act as a zone out, and front-panel alarm, fault, busy, and ready LEDs report system status at a glance. The station supports the GLOBALCOM 116D controller and is optimized for AtlasIED GCK configuration software. Pair it with controllers, amplifiers, and speakers from our AtlasIED collection to complete a facility-wide mass notification design.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the IPCSDTOUCH-H and the IED550CS-H?
The IPCSDTOUCH-H uses Dante message channels for GLOBALCOM.IP systems and supports the 116D controller, while the IED550CS-H uses CobraNet for legacy GLOBALCOM systems. Choose the IPCSDTOUCH-H for new Dante-based designs.
Which controller does this station require?
It supports the GLOBALCOM 116D announcement controller and is configured with AtlasIED GCK software. A software license is required.
How is the station powered and connected?
It is PoE powered over a single Ethernet cable, with redundant Ethernet ports for resilient network designs. Each station obtains its IP address automatically or accepts a static assignment.
Does it work with other Dante devices?
Yes. Dante message channels allow the station's audio to ride the same network as other Dante-enabled DSPs, amplifiers, and endpoints within the GLOBALCOM.IP system architecture.
Are other microphone configurations available?
Yes. AtlasIED offers this station in handheld (-H), gooseneck, surface (flat), and desktop free-standing versions to match the operator position.
What warranty and support come with this product?
AtlasIED provides a 36-month limited warranty from the date of purchase, and Creation Networks offers design assistance and post-sale support for commercial paging and mass notification projects.
