Product Overview

The AtlasIED IP-CONSOLE-GH is a PoE-powered VoIP paging console that serves as the administrative display phone or master paging station in an AtlasIED IPX unified communications system. It combines a 10.1-inch color touch screen, gooseneck microphone, corded handset, and built-in conference speaker in a single desktop console. The unit registers directly with Singlewire's InformaCast notification application, giving operators one-touch access to zone paging, intercom, and emergency notification. For schools, government facilities, and corporate campuses deploying network paging systems, it is the front-end command station of the IPX ecosystem.

Product Description

AtlasIED IP-CONSOLE-GH PoE IP console with gooseneck mic and handset

In daily operation, the gooseneck microphone, built-in speaker, and graphical interface let the operator select any or all zones for live announcements, or a single zone for two-way communication; the handset enables private intercom sessions to a single zone. The console supports up to 112 programmable virtual DSS (Direct Station Selection) keys, each with custom colors and naming that match the InformaCast Fusion Command Center's button design, including user-defined color styles for normal, warning, and emergency notifications. From the 1280x800 touch screen, operators launch InformaCast critical alerts, manual bells, and pre-recorded or scheduled events to AtlasIED IPX Series speakers across the network.

For IT managers and AV integrators, deployment is straightforward: the console runs over IEEE 802.3af PoE on 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet, with a dual bridged port for PC pass-through, built-in 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and IPv6 support. Auto registration is available via SLP or DNS-SRV for Singlewire applications or the AtlasIED Discover tool, with an HTTP GUI for static configuration. Beyond InformaCast, the IP-CONSOLE-GH registers as a SIP phone to on-premise or hosted call platforms — including Asterisk, Broadsoft, 3CX, Metaswitch, Elastix, and Avaya — and supports 20 SIP lines with G.711, G.722 wideband, and Opus audio codecs plus optional H.264/H.265 video. It also communicates directly with IPX endpoints using multicast, so basic paging works even without a server. Build out the rest of the system with IPX speakers from our AtlasIED collection.

Key Features

  • 10.1-Inch Color Touch Screen — The 1280x800 display gives operators fast, intuitive navigation of zones, alerts, and scheduled events.
  • Gooseneck Mic, Handset, and Speaker — Three onboard audio paths support live paging, two-way intercom, and private handset conversations from one station.
  • InformaCast Integration — Registers directly with Singlewire InformaCast to launch critical alerts, manual bells, and scheduled notifications.
  • 112 Virtual DSS Keys — Programmable one-touch keys with custom colors and names mirror the InformaCast Fusion Command Center layout.
  • 20 SIP Lines — Registers to major on-premise and hosted call platforms including Asterisk, 3CX, Avaya, Broadsoft, Metaswitch, and Elastix.
  • PoE Powered — IEEE 802.3af compliance over gigabit Ethernet means a single network cable handles power and data, simplifying installation.
  • Direct Multicast to IPX — Communicates directly with IPX endpoints via multicast for paging without a central server.
  • Wideband Audio Codecs — G.711, G.722, and Opus support keeps announcements and intercom calls intelligible.
  • Built-In Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 — 2.4G/5G Wi-Fi and Bluetooth provide flexible connectivity options beyond wired Ethernet.
  • Adjustable Desktop Stand — Two stand angles (40 and 50 degrees) position the console for comfortable operator use at reception or dispatch desks.

Which call platforms is it compatible with?
It works with most major platforms, including Asterisk, Broadsoft, 3CX, Metaswitch, Elastix, and Avaya, on both on-premise and hosted infrastructure.

How is the console powered?

How many zones or stations can the operator address?
Up to 112 virtual DSS keys can be programmed for one-touch access to zones, stations, and InformaCast events, and the operator can page any or all zones live.
