The Atlas Sound IED5411EOL is an EN54-16 compatible end-of-line (EOL) speaker load module designed to enable continuous supervision of 70V/100V speaker circuits in life safety public address and paging systems. Used with AtlasIED GLOBALCOM and 5400 Series systems, it allows open circuit faults to be detected anywhere along a speaker line — including at the last speaker in the chain — without requiring a return wire. The IED5411EOL is specifically rated for amplifier channels with a continuous power rating of 200 watts or greater.

Product Description

The IED5411EOL and its companion IED5410EOL are end-of-line supervision devices that monitor the continuity of 70V/100V speaker circuits by presenting a measurable load at the supervision frequency (approximately 20kHz), well outside the audible range. This approach detects open circuit conditions along the entire speaker run without affecting paging or emergency audio performance. The IED5411EOL is for use with amplifier channels rated at 200 watts continuous or greater, including AtlasIED DNA2404x and T1202-x amplifiers, and with the 5400 Series IED5434AMP or IED5454AMP when paired with the IED5404DZM Digital Zone Manager. For correct operation, the speaker circuit must be wired as a continuous daisy-chain without branches or parallel connections, with one EOL device installed at the end of each supervised output. The compact form factor requires no external power. The IED5411EOL is suited for airports, transit facilities, hospitals, schools, hotels, office complexes, and any facility requiring EN54-16 compliant supervised loudspeaker lines. Warranted for 36 months from purchase.
