The Atlas Sound GSBT-G is a tall polyethylene base enclosure that raises the GSH-G all-weather landscape speaker off the ground for elevated outdoor audio installations in landscaped environments. Designed specifically for use with the AtlasIED GSH-G speaker, the GSBT-G enables two-phase installation that protects the speaker from construction site damage and theft. The polyethylene enclosure withstands the freeze-thaw cycles, UV exposure, and moisture conditions encountered in commercial outdoor audio installations at theme parks, hotels, resorts, and architectural landscape areas.

Product Description

The two-piece design of the GSBT-G system separates the installation process into two distinct phases, a practical advantage on commercial construction projects. In phase one, the base is anchored in place during initial site construction or landscaping—before finishing work is complete and before the speaker itself is available or safe to install. In phase two, after construction activity has ended, the contractor returns to install the GSH-G speaker and transformer into the secured base. This sequence eliminates risk of speaker damage from heavy equipment, foot traffic, or construction debris, and removes the finished speaker from the site during the period of highest theft exposure. The GSBT-G uses stable polyethylene construction that resists cracking, deformation, and UV degradation over long service periods outdoors. The green finish blends with grass, ground cover, and foliage typical of landscaped installations, reducing visual impact in natural settings. The base is compatible with the GSH-G speaker system, which carries a 43 Hz–20 kHz frequency response, 83.5 dB sensitivity (1W/1m, half space), and 360° horizontal by 50° vertical sound dispersion. Power taps of 8W, 16W, and 32W with 8Ω bypass accommodate 70V/100V distributed audio systems as well as direct low-impedance connections.
