Product Description

The FA42T-6MB uses the same bolt-hole pattern and footprint as a standard 6-inch FA series speaker component, allowing the 4-inch coaxial driver assembly to drop directly into FA97-6 and FA95-6 Strategy Series back boxes without modification. A tuned port in the motorboard assembly maximizes low-frequency output from these enclosures, compensating for the smaller driver diameter. The onboard 70.7V/100V transformer is designed to minimize insertion loss and maintain low-frequency response, particularly at higher power tap settings where inferior transformers typically compress bass reproduction. A front-mounted tap selector switch provides access to five power taps (1W, 2W, 4W, 8W, and 16W) without requiring access to the back of the enclosure, making system tuning straightforward after installation.
