The Atlas Sound ECS-3 is a 1RU rack-mount 15-amp power sequencer and conditioner designed to manage AC power distribution, equipment protection, and sequenced startup and shutdown in commercial AV equipment racks. Product Description

The ECS-3 addresses the full range of AC power management requirements for commercial AV racks. The six rear-panel outlets are divided into three sequential timing stages, allowing integrators to define a power-on order that protects sensitive downstream equipment from in-rush current and sequencing damage. Three additional outlets — two on the front panel and one unswitched rear outlet — are always available for convenience connections. The unit is rated for 15A continuous service and operates within a 102–132VAC range, with Extreme Voltage Shutdown (EVS) protection that automatically disconnects power if the AC mains falls below 102V or exceeds 132V.

Surge and transient protection is handled by dual-clamping spike suppression with DCS circuitry, rated to a minimum clamping voltage of 460 VRMS at 3000A and a maximum clamping voltage of 6000V. Radio frequency and electromagnetic interference (RFI/EMI) filters are included on the AC line. The front panel includes a precision digital AC mains voltmeter for real-time line voltage monitoring, and a pull-out dimmable LED tube light for rack illumination. A rear XLR-style socket supports an optional 16" gooseneck LED lamp (AP-GNL18) for rear rack lighting. Sequence activation can be triggered from the front panel momentary switch, from a rear-panel dry contact closure, or via a 5–24VDC trigger signal — enabling integration with room control systems.
