It is TAA and BAA compliant, making it suitable for government and institutional projects.
Product Description
The DT12-2X2ADP includes two filler panels that allow the DT12 or IDT12(-CK) speaker to be positioned in the center of a standard 2'x2' ceiling tile or in one half of a 4'x2' ceiling tile. Necessary T-bar hardware is included for securing the panels and speaker to the ceiling grid without additional fasteners or field fabrication. The kit eliminates the need for a custom tile cutout, streamlining installation in new construction and retrofit applications. The DT12 speaker is sold separately, and this kit is designed exclusively for use with that speaker family. The clean tile-style appearance blends the speaker into standard suspended ceiling systems commonly found in commercial and educational facilities. US and foreign patents are pending on the adapter design. Each kit must be purchased in multiples of two. The product carries Atlas Sound’s standard 60-month warranty.
