The DR-54 double re-entrant horn provides 75-degree uniform sound coverage across its dispersion pattern, making it effective for wide-area PA applications where a single horn must cover large audiences or open spaces. The exponential horn flare is mathematically optimized for uniform sound distribution across the coverage angle, avoiding the hot-spots and drop-off zones common in simpler horn designs. A resonance damping ring is incorporated into the circular projector assembly, extending the usable frequency range by controlling reflective resonances within the horn body. The all-metal construction is weather-resistant, rated for year-round outdoor use in rain, humidity, and temperature extremes. The durable grey epoxy finish resists corrosion and UV degradation in permanent outdoor installations. An integral U-type steel mounting bracket is included, providing full directional aiming flexibility for precise coverage adjustment during installation. The 1-3/8-inch -18 thread coupling accepts AtlasIED PD and SD Series compression drivers as well as any third-party driver with standard thread coupling.
