Product Overview
The AtlasIED DPA2402 is a 2400-watt networkable multi-channel power amplifier with onboard DSP, built for commercial audio installations that need flexible amplification and remote management in one 2RU chassis. The DSP-controlled 4-channel platform configures three ways: 2 x 1200 W at 70.7V/100V, 4 x 500 W at 4 ohms (or 4 x 300 W at 8 ohms), or a mixed mode pairing one 1200 W 70V channel with two low-impedance channels. That flexibility lets system designers handle distributed paging, background music, and foreground stereo from a single amplifier. An accessory slot adds an optional 4-channel Dante network audio receiver card for networked AV deployments.
Product Description

The DPA2402 ships factory preconfigured in two-channel 70V mode, ready for distributed speaker line deployment out of the box. When a project calls for four channels of low-impedance amplification, the same unit reconfigures for 4-ohm or 8-ohm loads; for mixed designs, it delivers 70V/100V on one channel for a paging or background music system plus two 4-ohm or 8-ohm channels for a foreground stereo zone. Four balanced line inputs come standard, and the accessory slot accepts either a DPA-DAC4 4-channel Dante receiver card or a DPA-AMIX card adding two mic/line and two aux inputs, bringing total input count to eight. Every input mixes and routes to any of the four amplifier channels, and each channel carries a full DSP toolset — level controls, EQ, limiters, high- and low-pass filters, and delay — configured through the onboard browser GUI from a PC, tablet, or mobile device, with password protection available. Output levels assign to front panel potentiometers or to the GUI, and wired remote level control gives end users simple day-to-day adjustment. The included PC-based DPA Site Manager software auto-discovers every DPA amplifier on the network, then provides single-click access plus fault reporting, input and output status, standby status, and remote activation on a scheduler timer — valuable for facilities managing amplifiers across multiple equipment rooms. Audio-sense turn-on/off and signal- or contact-closure-triggered mutes round out the automation features. The BASH Class AB switching hybrid topology keeps the unit efficient at just 20.8 pounds. Rear panel connections are shown below. Pair the DPA2402 with 70V ceiling or surface-mount loudspeakers from our AtlasIED collection.

Key Features
- Three Configurable Amplifier Modes — Operates as a 2-channel 70.7V amplifier, a 4-channel 4-ohm/8-ohm amplifier, or a mixed single 70.7V channel plus two low-impedance channels.
- 2400 W Total Output — Delivers 2 x 1200 W at 70.7V/100V or 4 x 500 W at 4 ohms for large distributed and foreground systems.
- Onboard DSP per Channel — Level controls, EQ, limiters, high- and low-pass filters, and delay are configurable on all four channels via browser GUI.
- Optional Dante Network Audio — Accessory slot accepts a DPA-DAC4 4-channel Dante receiver card or a DPA-AMIX 2 mic/line + 2 aux input card, for up to eight total inputs.
- Full Input Mixing and Routing — All inputs can be mixed and routed to any of the four amplifier channels for flexible zone design.
- DPA Site Manager Software — Network auto-discovery, fault reporting, input/output status, standby status, and scheduler-based remote activation simplify multi-amplifier management.
- Browser-Based Control — DSP settings are accessible from PC, iOS, and Android devices over the network, with password protection for system security.
- Assignable User Controls — Output levels assign to front panel potentiometers or the GUI, with wired remote level control for simple end-user operation.
- Automated Muting and Power — Mute assignments trigger via audio signal or contact closure, and audio-sense turn-on/off reduces energy use between events.
- Compact 2RU Design — BASH Class AB switching hybrid topology delivers 2400 watts from a 20.8 lb, 14.5-inch-deep chassis.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the DPA2402 run 70V paging and low-impedance speakers at the same time?
Yes. In mixed mode it delivers one 1200 W channel at 70.7V or 100V for a paging or background music system plus two 600 W channels at 4 ohms for foreground stereo zones.
Does the DPA2402 include Dante?
Dante is optional. The accessory slot accepts the DPA-DAC4 4-channel Dante receiver card; alternatively, the DPA-AMIX card adds two mic/line and two aux inputs. Either card brings the total input count to eight.
How do I configure DSP settings after installation?
All DSP tools — EQ, limiters, filters, delay, levels, and routing — are accessed through the onboard GUI from any web browser on a PC, tablet, or mobile device, and settings can be password protected.
Can I monitor multiple DPA amplifiers across a facility?
Yes. The included DPA Site Manager software auto-discovers every DPA amplifier on the network and provides fault reporting, input/output status, standby status, and scheduler-based remote activation from one interface.
What ships in the box configuration-wise?
The unit arrives factory preconfigured in two-channel 70V mode, so it is ready for distributed speaker systems immediately; reconfiguration to 4-channel or mixed mode is done during setup.
How can end users adjust volume without accessing the DSP?
A user page provides assignable input and output level control, and wired remote level controls can be configured for simple day-to-day adjustment without exposing system settings.
What warranty does the DPA2402 carry?
AtlasIED warrants the DPA2402 for 36 months from the date of purchase, and Creation Networks supports system design questions before and after the sale.
