It enables integrators to install rack-mount electronic equipment directly into the ceiling rack's shelf assembly, expanding the CR222's utility beyond shelf-loaded components. This accessory is designed exclusively for CR222 Series ceiling rack configurations.
Product Description
The CR222RR provides two standard rack units of mounting space within the CR222 AmbiTILT shelf system, allowing rack-mount equipment such as amplifiers, signal processors, power distribution units, and control systems to be installed at the ceiling level. The sliding rail design allows the rack-mount section to extend outward from the ceiling position for convenient access during service or equipment changes, without requiring the entire rack to be lowered. This is particularly useful in plenum installations where the ceiling rack is fixed at height and physical access to mounted equipment would otherwise be difficult. The rails are built to interface specifically with the CR222 shelf mechanism, ensuring proper alignment and load support for installed rack-mount gear.
