Product Description
The BT720-4 is part of Atlas Sound's B Series factory-assembled in-ceiling loudspeaker packages, designed to reduce job site installation time and simplify ordering for commercial AV contractors. The package incorporates the Atlas Sound FC104 high-compliance 4" loudspeaker, which is a proven driver recognized for full-range voice and music reproduction in paging and background music applications. The 10-ounce ceramic magnet and high-compliance damped cone deliver strong low-frequency reproduction and smooth extended response across the 150Hz to 17kHz frequency range. Wide-angle 135° dispersion (at −6dB, 2kHz octave band) allows broad coverage in open-plan commercial spaces without requiring excessive speaker placement density. The factory-mounted dual-voltage 25V/70.7V transformer includes power taps at 0.25, 0.5, 1, 2, and 4 watts for precise zone-level management in multi-zone distributed audio systems. The T720-4 baffle included in the package provides a clean white-finish ceiling surround that integrates neatly into standard suspended ceiling tile applications. The torsion spring baffle mounting simplifies installation in ceiling tiles without additional hardware. One EZ-Mount model is available in the B Series for suspended ceiling tile installations that do not require a protective enclosure; EZ-Mount brackets and support rails are pre-mounted and adjust vertically for varying ceiling depths. All BT720-4 packages ship fully assembled and ready for installation. cUL certified for code-compliant commercial installations. BAA and TAA compliant.
