Product Overview
The AtlasIED BlueBridge BB-88DT is an 8-input by 8-output networkable Dante DSP processor built for conference room AV integration, video conferencing, and multi-zone commercial audio installation. It combines a 48 kHz, 40-bit floating point DSP engine with Dante digital audio networking, allowing integrators to route 16 channels of audio over standard Ethernet infrastructure. Open architecture, drag-and-drop programming software gives system designers full control over signal flow without fixed-template limitations. For commercial AV integrators, IT managers, and consultants specifying networked audio, the BB-88DT is a dependable core processor for new builds and Dante system expansions.
Product Description

AtlasIED BlueBridge networkable DSP devices are engineered for mission-critical commercial sound system design in spaces such as video conferencing suites, presentation rooms, courtrooms, houses of worship, restaurants, and multi-zone paging and background music systems. The BB-88DT provides eight software-selectable microphone or line inputs and eight line outputs on Phoenix-style connectors, with high-quality THAT Corporation microphone preamps and 24-bit converters delivering an ultra-low noise floor. The 40-bit floating point DSP engine prevents the digital clipping common in fixed-point processors and provides headroom for advanced algorithms in complex system designs. Dante integration adds 8 channels of self-configuring, plug-and-play digital audio over Ethernet, so the processor drops into new or existing Dante audio networks without dedicated cabling. Ethernet connectivity also enables cost-effective TCP/IP control, and every BlueBridge processor on the network is auto-recognized and controllable. Processing tools include standard and gain-sharing auto-mixers, matrix mixers, delays, parametric and graphic EQ, anti-feedback modules, crossovers, duckers, compressors, expanders, and limiters. The companion BluePanel software lets designers build custom control interfaces for networked computers and wall controllers such as the BB-TOUCH7 touch panel, giving end users safe access to volume, source selection, and room combining without exposing the DSP configuration itself. AtlasIED also offers pre-configured design templates through its BlueBridge training program. Frequently Asked Questions
Does the BB-88DT require a Dante network to operate?
No. The Dante interface is in addition to the eight analog inputs and outputs, so the processor works in analog-only designs and integrates with a Dante audio network when one is present.
Can it run without a permanent network connection?
Yes. BlueBridge devices need a network connection during setup and for control, but can run standalone afterward in applications where network control is unnecessary, such as live speech systems.
How do end users control the system?
Designers use BluePanel software to create custom interfaces for networked computers and to program wall controllers, including the BB-TOUCH7 touch panel, for volume, source selection, and room combining.
What is required for the optional wall controllers?
BlueBridge DSP units operate on any network, while the optional control accessories require a PoE network switch.
Is it suitable for video conferencing rooms?
Yes. With software-selectable mic/line inputs, 48V phantom power, auto-mixers, and anti-feedback EQ, the BB-88DT is well suited to conference room AV integration and video conferencing audio.
What warranty and support are included?
AtlasIED provides a 36-month warranty from date of purchase, and Creation Networks offers design assistance and post-sale support for BlueBridge DSP deployments.
