The Atlas Sound AWR3W is part of the AWR Series of commercial wall rack cabinets, redesigned for easier installation and improved security. The welded models can be surface mounted or recessed into walls using the included trim ring, providing flexibility for both new construction and retrofit applications. The cabinet includes a 3RU panel opening above the main bay, providing dedicated space for connector panels, power distribution units, or other user-accessible electronics — a practical feature for distributed audio rack installations.

The 16-gauge CRS door frame and matching locking tilt-out door close flush against the rack face plate. The door is attached internally with two pin-style hinges to prevent tampering, and can be opened to two positions: a tilt-out angle for normal equipment operation, and a full 90-degree position for equipment installation and service. Two steel safety catch cables suspend and hold the door open at 90 degrees. The back box includes six concentric 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch conduit knockouts for flexible cable routing. Front panels feature 45-degree mitered edges for a clean flush appearance. The usable rack depth is 17.25 inches at the bottom RU, with 20 inches available at the top RU.
